You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. This position will work with the Senior Management Team, Directors and Unit Managers to research and identify needs, as well as facilitate the continuation and sustainability of the strategies to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
Description:
As part of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Project team, you will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, reviewing, implementation and evaluation of a variety of clinical processes and systems. This position is accountable to develop, review, integrate, facilitate, implement and evaluating the various workforce strategies and initiatives currently affecting GPRH. A comprehensive evidence-based approach will be implemented to achieve maximum impact and operational best practices. Functions as a leader, innovator and change agent. Supports Patient and Family Centered Care and enhances client care outcomes while working closely with the Quality Performance Improvement team. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. This position will work with the Senior Management Team, Directors and Unit Managers to research and identify needs, as well as facilitate the continuation and sustainability of the strategies to improve patient experiences and outcomes. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in a clinical area (nursing or allied health discipline) or related area plus appropriate license or other recognized designation is preferred.
Additional Required Qualifications:5 years experience in healthcare or related sector; some QI related experience preferred Some experience and involvement with QI initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:In depth knowledge - expert level QI toolkit; body of knowledge, process skills, and tools Documented evidence of formal training in QI Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in leading multidisciplinary and complex QI initiatives
