Job Responsibility:
Location: Queen St W, Toronto Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to be part of an exciting new venture? Miss Ivy, a vibrant new restaurant lounge located on Queen St W in Toronto, is looking for enthusiastic Servers and Food Runners to join our team. About Us: Miss Ivy is set to redefine dining and nightlife in Toronto with its chic atmosphere, innovative cocktails, and delectable menu offerings. We aim to create a memorable experience for every guest, combining excellent service with a warm and inviting ambiance. Positions Available: Server: - Delivering exceptional customer service to guests.
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Providing recommendations and upselling additional products.
- Ensuring guests have a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
Food Runner: - Assisting servers by delivering food orders to tables promptly and accurately.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Assisting with bussing tables and resetting for the next guests.
- Supporting overall restaurant operations as needed.
Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
