Lead the Faculty of Science and Technology at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. Drive academic excellence and foster innovative research while enhancing student engagement and program development. This senior academic leadership role requires a PhD or terminal degree, as well as a strong record of strategic planning and organizational growth. As the Dean, you'll contribute significantly to expanding interdisciplinary learning and addressing infrastructure needs. Your collaborative approach will be essential in cultivating partnerships and enhancing academic quality for over 16,000 students. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Faculty's academic and research strategy
- Enhance interdisciplinary collaboration within the university
- Manage capital projects and facility improvements
- Strengthen research capacity and innovation initiatives
- Promote student success through experiential learning
- PhD or terminal degree in a relevant field
- Minimum eight years of academic experience
- Five years in senior leadership roles
- Proven success in strategic program development
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity in education
