Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Caregiver Who Can Help My 7 Year Old Twins Get Ready For School And Walk/Drive Them To Bus

Job Overview: Hi there, we're seeking a caregiver working in our home in Calgary, Alberta. Our family lives in Northwest Calgary and we have six year old twin daughters. We would like child care every week day morning from 6:30-7:30 am, then to drive our daughters to the bus stop (about 5 minute drive). We are also interested in childcare on an occasional basis, 1-2 evenings/weekend days per month or weekdays when our regular daytime childcare is closed. We will try to provide as much notice as possible but may request last-minute support. Our children are kind and try their best to follow instructions. We want everyone to have a positive experience, so we would like you to have several introductory meetings with our daughters before leaving you on your own. We are looking for an individual who takes reasonable steps to avoid getting sick while in the community, as our family is susceptible to illness. Duties: Our home requires child care (supervising children in home, feeding meals, assisting with toileting, etc.) and household duties (ex. preparing simple meals as needed, light household cleaning, etc). We ask that you have your own vehicle that we can install booster seats in. We also may ask for your driver abstract and insurance information. Experience: We are looking for an applicant with at least 2 years experience working or volunteering with children. The perfect applicant would have experience with twins, but it is not necessary to apply. Also we prefer someone who has CPR/First aid, and we will ask for a criminal record check and references from previous employers. Additional Availability: We can be flexible for the right candidate.
