We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day site operations on a contract basis for an upcoming commercial/industrial construction project in Calgary.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years Superintendent experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and coordination skills
- Experience managing multiple trades in fast-paced environments
- Must be flexible to support night and weekend work as required
- Valid safety certifications and driver’s license are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage off shift construction activities and site coordination
- Supervise sub trades and maintain the project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta OH&S and site safety requirements
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate deficiencies
- Work closely with the Project Management team and consultants
- Maintain daily reports and site documentation
- Ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts as required by the project schedule
