Firmware Engineer for Humanoid Robots

Contribute to the future of robotics with Humanoid as a Firmware and Embedded Software Engineer. Develop critical embedded systems that ensure our humanoid robots operate safely and reliably.
This Vancouver-based role requires advanced skills in embedded software development and real-time programming. You’ll be responsible for creating software for subsystems vital to robotic motion control, communication networks, and hardware interfaces. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will enhance the performance and safety of our robots in real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop embedded software emphasizing real-time performance and reliability
• Integrate hardware and software components for robotic systems
• Write firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs
• Implement and manage communication protocols like EtherCAT and CAN
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
• 5+ years in embedded software or firmware development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python
• Experience with RTOS and communication protocols
• Familiarity with debugging tools
