Job Responsibility:
We are looking to hire a Part-Time Admin Assistant/Receptionist (16-24 hours per week) for our growing cloud accounting firm. We provide accounting, advisory, and taxation services to families and small businesses all over Canada. The part-time admin assistant will work directly for a partner to efficiently manage accounting and client administration duties.
Qualifications/Work Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 1-2 years of reception and/or administrative experience
· Bachelor's University Degree
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
· Effective communication (verbal and written) in English
· Excellent organizational skills and with a high level of attention to detail
· Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities of Job:
· Working with two senior partners in managing day to day operations of the business
· Filing, scanning, and organizing paperwork
· Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
· Responding to client inquiries via email/phone
· Managing invoicing and payments for clients
· Answering phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
The position will start with 2-3 days a week (6-8hrs/day). Due to the nature of our work, the candidate should be flexible to put in additional hours when requested to. There will be a 3-month probationary period, after which a performance review will be held and a decision made regarding permanent part-time employment.
We offer competitive wages with an option of a bonus based on the individual's performance. The ideal candidate would be someone who can grow with us and join us long term. Successful candidates will be contacted by email to arrange an in person interview during which we will require two professional references.
