We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join a cross-functional project team and drive user-centric digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge business objectives, user experience (UX) design, and technical delivery within a hybrid Agile environment. Working closely with product owners, technical leads, and external vendors, you will lead customer discovery, prioritize product backlogs, define user stories and functional specifications, and ensure all digital platforms are simple, accessible, and aligned with modern web standards.

Duration: 6-month contract.

Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Backlog Management: Lead backlog refinement, write user epics and stories, prioritize features, and define sprint plans to align cross-functional product teams.

UX Strategy & Design Oversight: Guide user-centered design processes, overseeing the creation of personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, page templates, and navigation flows.

Requirements & Data Modeling: Elicit, document, and manage detailed functional and non-functional requirements, conceptual data models, and business rules.

Usability & Accessibility Standards: Ensure all digital solutions and user interfaces comply strictly with web usability and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA).

Research & Evidence-Based Iteration: Conduct end-user research, analyze web analytics and KPIs, and gather customer feedback to continuously optimize product features.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Lead stakeholder consultations, facilitate design thinking workshops, and manage relationships with solution delivery vendors.

Testing & Quality Assurance Support: Assist QA and development teams by defining test plans, reviewing UAT scenarios, and managing defect tracking.

Executive Briefings & Governance: Author strategic option papers, slide decks, product roadmaps, and risk mitigation reports for senior leadership decision-making.

Qualifications
Senior Business Analysis Experience: Extensive experience as a Level 3 Business Analyst leading digital solution design within hybrid Agile (Scrum) frameworks (Strictly Required).

UX/UI & Product Management: Proven expertise in product backlog management, user research, user journey mapping, wireframing, and design thinking (Strictly Required).

Accessibility & Web Standards: Solid working knowledge of web usability best practices and WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level A & AA accessibility standards (Strictly Required).

Prototyping & Agile Tooling: Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite) and backlog tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) (Strictly Required).

Stakeholder Facilitation & Leadership: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience delivering executive briefings and managing vendor partners.

Nice-to-Have Assets:
Formal Scrum Master or Agile product owner certification.

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) or digital government service standards.
