Part-Time Warehouse Technician
Overview
PepsiCo Foods Canada has an opening for a Part-Time Warehouse Technician at our Ottawa Distribution Center!
In this role you will help us get our famous brands to the people who love them across Canada. You’re fit and you’ve got grit. You like to win even if the only competition is yourself. You’re a team player and pride yourself on being easy-going, motivated and tough. You want a job that rewards you for your strengths with no run around, good pay and a great team culture.
Your experience includes a background in environments where teamwork is critical. You’ve worked physically challenging jobs where safety is important. We hire for attitude and train for specific skills.
Compensation: $23.73 during probationary period
Shift: 9am- 7pm, 3-4 days per week
ResponsibilitiesStrapping and bundling cardboard
Loading/Unloading shipments
Picking orders from the warehouse
Gathering pallet boards
Various sanitation duties as required
Work in an ergonomically correct manner
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Excellent communication skills
Forklift and warehouse experience an asset
Proficiency with computers
OSSD or equivalent required
Flexible –Willingness to work off shifts and weekends
Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping and stair climbing
Results Oriented
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Able to lift 50 pounds
Steel toed safety boots required
Team-based approach to decision making
