The Opportunity

As Vice President, AI & Multitech, you'll position yourself and your team as the technology leaders clients turn to across Appficiency's full platform portfolio - spanning ERP, CRM, AI, and beyond. This is a role built for someone who thinks in ecosystems, not single platforms: you'll build and coach a team fluent across multiple technologies, shape long-term account strategy in step with our sales targets, and push AI-driven delivery efficiency to new heights. You'll work hand-in-hand with Sales to shape regional strategy, ensuring the team you build reflects where the business is headed next.

What You’ll Do

• Own client health across the construction and ETO portfolio, building the kind of trust that keeps retention high in one of the firm's most demanding verticals
• Champion delivery excellence for construction and ETO engagements, ensuring every project lands within scope, on time, on budget, and to Appficiency's quality standard
• Cultivate deep, senior-level relationships with key stakeholders across your most strategic construction and ETO accounts
• Take direct ownership of reducing escalations - since this industry generates a disproportionate share of the firm's escalations today, this is one of the clearest measures of your impact
• Partner with the product team to shape a stronger, more tailored customer experience for construction and ETO clients
• Build a delivery organization with genuine credibility in front of construction and ETO clients, coaching your internal team and hiring externally to bring in the industry expertise clients expect
• Act as a true partner to the SOS team, giving them the delivery support and credibility they need to win and grow construction and ETO business
• Turn strong delivery into growth, supporting the conversion of implementation engagements into follow-on opportunities and referenceable relationships
• Manage your portfolio's profitability with the same discipline you bring to client satisfaction and escalation management

What You’ll Bring

• A blend of backgrounds: hands-on experience in construction, civil engineering, or ETO manufacturing, paired with time spent inside an IT or software company - you've operated credibly in both worlds, and that combination is non-negotiable for this role
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field is strongly preferred; an MBA or equivalent business degree is a plus
• Working fluency in construction-specific business processes - job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, change order management, RFIs, submittals, and subcontractor/vendor management — and how they translate into ERP and project system requirements
• Exposure to construction-focused ERP/field platforms (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint/Vista, Sage 300 CRE, CMiC, Foundation) is a strong plus, alongside broader ERP/CRM experience such as NetSuite or Salesforce
• 10+ years in Professional Services or construction/ETO industry leadership, with 7-8 of those years in systems implementation, integration, or process re-engineering for construction or engineering-driven organizations
• A track record of managing distributed delivery teams across multiple regions on concurrent, complex projects
• Strong command of business analytics, BI, and financial performance management, including genuine fluency in reading and acting on job-cost reporting and P&L
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of your time, with flexibility for site visits and client needs
