Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every client.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients and offering professional advice on hair care.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and ensure satisfaction with their hairstyles.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
- Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, with an emphasis on upselling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hair styling and an eagerness to learn new techniques.
