Knowledge & Skills
- You have knowledge of standards (BRC, SQF or FSSC 22000)
- You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
- You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of machinery operation .
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with industrial safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience
- You have a Degree in Food Science or related discipline.
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility.
- THINGS YOU WILL DO…
- Machine Operation
- Operate Nimco machinery or Fogg line or bagger (such as pumps, valves, or other equipment) according to the operational guidelines and safety protocols.
- Ensure that the machinery is set up and calibrated properly for the specific production requirements.
- Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure, temperature) to ensure optimal performance during production.
- Monitor machine outputs to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications, making adjustments when necessary.
- Record and report any product defects or deviations from production standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine settings, production quantities, and downtime.
- Document maintenance and repair activities, tracking the performance and history of each machine.
- Report any issues, equipment malfunctions, or production delays to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Ensure the proper loading of raw materials into the machine, ensuring that materials are correctly prepared for processing.
