Job Description

The Property Management Bookkeeper maintains accurate financial records and supports the accounting operations of property management activities. This role applies expertise in property management accounting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and financial reporting while ensuring precise, timely financial information.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate property management bookkeeping and general ledger records.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare and support financial reporting activities.
Use QuickBooks and Excel to record, organize, and analyze financial data.
Communicate financial information clearly with relevant stakeholders.
Review records and transactions for accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in property management bookkeeping.
Experience with property management accounting and general ledger accounting.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
Experience performing bank reconciliations.
Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Experience with financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
