Senior Actuarial Consultant at Wawanesa

Lead strategic pricing projects as a Senior Actuarial Consultant with Wawanesa, focusing on improving methodologies for all P&C products. Drive insights and results communicated to Senior leadership. As part of the National Initiatives team, you will take the lead in enhancing the Personal Lines indication process. Collaborate with various analysts on projects and improve pricing procedures while evaluating current processes for further enhancement. Your contributions will shape profitability outlooks and loss trend estimations, ensuring comprehensive communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in indication processes
- Communicate profitability outlooks to senior leadership
- Advance practices in estimating loss and premium trends
- Lead projects with multiple analysts from start to finish
- Identify opportunities for pricing process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Over six years P&C actuarial experience
- FCAS designation preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Radar assets
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
