Title: Automotive Detailer
Pay: $19 - $21/hr
Shifts: Monday- Friday
Hours: 8am-5pm
Location: Ottawa, ON - South East
We're actively hiring an experienced Automotive Detailer on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership that has been serving the Ottawa-Gatineau community for 50+ years. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting dealership operations by detailing new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring they are cleaned, polished, and prepared to a high standard. You will be working alongside an experienced team in a professional, customer-focused environment that takes pride in delivering quality vehicles and service.
Responsibilities:
- Detail the interior and exterior of new and pre-owned vehicles to ensure they are presented in top condition
- Work efficiently while upholding excellent detailing standards
- Apply cleaning, polishing, and buffing products correctly on all vehicle surfaces as needed
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of their condition
- Safely move and park vehicles in designated areas on the lot or for delivery
- Assist with inventory management, supplies, and keeping the workspace organized and safe
Requirements:
- Capable of performing the physical tasks required, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for long periods
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, both interior and exterior
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Able to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- Criminal Record Check will be required as part of the Onboarding process
Working environment/safety:
- Working in a humid and damp environment
- Regular use of cleaning chemicals
- Continuous repetitive hand movement
