Job Title: DevSecOps Platform Engineer
Department: Information Technology
Job Summary: The DevSecOps Platform Engineer will play a crucial role in modernizing product delivery processes within application teams. This position focuses on building reusable platform capabilities that enable squads to deliver value rapidly, efficiently, and securely. The ideal candidate will work remotely, contributing to the development of self-service tools, automation, and security methodologies that enhance the overall efficiency and security of software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement developer self-service capabilities and golden paths on the DevSecOps platform to facilitate secure project initiation and delivery.
- Create reusable templates and AI-enabled workflows for languages such as Java, Python, .NET, and Azure Functions.
- Automate provisioning and monitoring processes to streamline development workflows.
- Focus on improving application security methodologies by leveraging CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Mend, Snyk, Defender, AI, and ServiceNow.
- Deploy security standards across teams and remediate vulnerabilities associated with the DevSecOps platform.
Specific Project Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, supporting multiple application delivery teams.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise and/or Azure DevOps.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience designing and authoring production-grade Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules and automated deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps/Application Security, integrating security controls into software development and CI/CD pipelines, including experience with security scanning, vulnerability remediation, policy enforcement, secrets management, and/or software supply-chain security.
Work Environment: This position is fully remote, based in Canada . The work will require Reliability status security clearance, and candidates must be eligible to obtain this clearance prior to the contract start date.
