Technical Support Specialist in Mining

Orica seeks a Technical Support Specialist for Implementation in Prince George/Red Chris, BC's mining industry. This role features a 14 days on/off work schedule focusing on implementing innovative technologies. As an Implementation Specialist, you will be critical in managing the effective introduction of blasting technologies at customer sites, aiming for enhanced safety and operational efficiency. Your tasks will range from project support to tracking performance metrics while actively collaborating with various stakeholders in a cross-functional team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold safety and operational standards during implementations
- Facilitate all facets of technology deployment
- Develop communication plans with clients
- Report on Key Performance Indicators efficiently
- Deliver direct customer support on-site as needed
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering
- Experience coordinating project implementation
- Proficient in standard office software and CAD tools
- Background in Drill and Blast is an asset
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
