Job Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunizations.
- Food Handler's Certificate is considered an asset.
- Passion for early childhood education and child-centred learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- French language proficiency is considered a strong asset.
- Montessori experience or training is an asset.
Job Description
French Elite Montessori is a newly established bilingual Montessori school in St. Catharines, offering a unique full French immersion environment for preschool children. We are committed to fostering independence, curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori principles in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing community.We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing team.As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment while supporting the implementation of our Montessori curriculum in a full French immersion setting.Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of an authentic Montessori learning environment.
• Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
• Promote children's independence, confidence, and love of learning.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Head Teacher to maintain high-quality educational programming.
• Comply with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Ministry of Education regulations, and school policies.
