Technical Specialist I - Immunohistochemistry / Pathology Imaging - Canada

Leica Biosystems seeks a Technical Specialist to support immunohistochemistry and pathology imaging sales across Ontario. This field-based role combines technical expertise with customer engagement to drive revenue growth, manage equipment installations, and provide application support.
Responsibilities
- Meet monthly and annual revenue targets for histology instrumentation and consumables with account managers
- Coordinate equipment installations, including site readiness, reagent management, and follow-up
- Conduct virtual and onsite product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer evaluations
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve customer escalations with internal teams
- Track market trends and drive consumables adoption across new and competitive accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years relevant industry experience in pathology lab or histology
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with pathology marketplace
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75%
- Fluent in English; French language skills advantageous
