Position Overview:

UNIQLO Canada is seeking a dynamic and innovative Coder & Designer to join our forward-thinking creative team. In this expanded role, you’ll collaborate closely with our internal design, email marketing, personalization, and digital media teams, as well as external vendors, to deliver engaging, personalized, and high-impact email and digital media campaigns. You will be responsible for the creation of digital marketing assets, including creative designs for email and various digital channels. Your HTML expertise, creative design skills, and deep understanding of our brand will help drive customer engagement and elevate our marketing communications across multiple digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop creative assets for email and digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to banners, display ads, social media graphics, and other digital media formats
• Balance hands-on HTML email coding with designing and developing new personalization modules
• Version emails to support sophisticated segmentation and targeting strategies
• Partner with email, copy, and design teams to execute planned campaigns
• Apply brand guidelines and utilize creative assets to ensure every communication reflects the UNIQLO identity
• Create and iterate on both daily and lifecycle email communications
• Propose and implement optimizations to enhance communications through improved content, coding practices, and advanced personalization
• Build dynamic, reusable code modules for personalized, data-driven content
• Combine creative assets into visually compelling, on-brand emailsand digital marketing designs
• Collaborate with team leadership to learn and implement UNIQLO’s best practices
• Work cross-functionally with site, store, and global teams to align on campaign and product assets
• Liaise with marketing automation and personalization partners to integrate their technologies, becoming a power-user of their tools
• Support cross-departmental design requests, ensuring alignment with ongoing email and digital media campaigns

What You Bring:

• Degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in HTML coding for email, with expert knowledge of industry best practices
• 1-2 years of experience in online creative development, preferably in dynamic and personalized email marketing
• Experience with Adobe Campaign or other email service providers (ESPs) is an asset
• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud is required
• Familiarity with CMS or creative asset management platforms
• Exceptional design sensibility, blending creativity, marketing strategy, and technical execution

Please note: The successful candidate must be available to work full-time, five days a week (Monday to Friday) for a duration of six to twelve months. All job postings at UNIQLO Canada Inc. are for existing vacancies within our organization. 

Salary:  $26.00/hour CAD

The salary range is based on several factors, including but not limited to overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and the position location.
