Metal Fabrication Production Supervisor
Maxxit Systems Inc.
Lead metal fabrication production at Maxxit Systems Inc. in Toronto, using leadership and quality control skills on the afternoon shift. Oversee manufacturing operations on site five days weekly.
As Supervisor, Metal Manufacturing, you will guide machine operators, welders, and assemblers. The work includes production scheduling, safety compliance, equipment oversight, and inventory coordination. You will support targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, coach, and mentor metal fabrication employees
- Coordinate schedules, workflow, resources, and customer delivery deadlines
- Maintain quality standards and conduct regular fabrication inspections
- Enforce safety procedures through meetings and workplace inspections
- Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, records, and performance reporting
Requirements:
- Five or more supervisory years in metal fabrication
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment
- Knowledge of quality control and safety compliance standards
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and manufacturing software systems
