Hardware Engineer - Safety Devices at Blackline

Step into a Hardware Engineer role at Blackline Safety, dedicated to designing innovative gas detection devices. Utilize your electrical engineering expertise to contribute to safety solutions in a collaborative environment.
In this dynamic position, you will focus on designing and optimizing hardware for connected safety products. This involves working closely with engineering teams to develop high-performance multi-layer boards, ensuring they meet production standards and technical requirements. Your ability to work independently and in a team will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and integrate printed circuit boards and systems
• Work collaboratively on defining design constraints
• Drive electrical troubleshooting processes to resolution
• Keep product leads updated on project timelines
• Travel as required within Canada and internationally
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• At least 5 years in high-volume electronics design
• Proficient in HDI designs using Altium
• Experience with digital interfaces and signal integrity
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
