Part-time Caregiver

My mom is seeking a part-time caregiver to add to our team. We currently have two caregivers working with us, but they each require more time off. The position would require approximately 20 hours a week (4 x 5 hours shifts), but some weeks a bit more, and some a bit less. The scheduling of the shifts could be flexible, with some evening shifts and some days. Our shifts are usually either 9am - 3pm, or 5pm - 10pm. Here is a message from my mom, describing her situation: I am looking for a lady to assist me in my home in central Richmond, close to the Canada Line Station. I am a Senior, and I need a person who has worked as a Caregiver. I am physically healthy and completely cognizant, but I have mobility issues. At present am using a wheelchair, and I require assistance with exercise, in order to increase my mobility. I live in a well-appointed home. I am very particular about cleanliness so I would like a person who is neat and tidy. Your responsibilities would include food preparation, cleaning and personal assistance. I am seeking someone who is a self-starter with a strong work ethic. A familiarity with Canadian and European cuisine is an asset. A vehicle and driver's license is also an asset, as I sometimes need accompaniment to appointments. My request is for a non-smoker and someone who does not use any illegal substances. I would need letters of reference, and a Criminal Record Check. My ideal candidate is a person who is light-hearted, happy, and of good humor.
