Market Data sourcing expertise anchors this Société Générale opportunity, covering providers, licensing, subscriptions, and reference data services. The role supports Americas stakeholders.The Sourcing Manager manages category activities for market data providers, pricing services, data feeds, terminals, and financial information platforms. Responsibilities include negotiating licensing agreements, reviewing usage, optimizing entitlements, and benchmarking provider pricing. The role also supports evaluations of new market data products and services.Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate market data licensing agreements and subscription renewalsManage exchange fee structures and vendor licensing requirementsConduct usage reviews and entitlement optimization exercisesBenchmark pricing and commercial terms across providersSupport evaluations of new market data productsRequirements:
Understanding of commercial contracting principlesKnowledge of contract lifecycle managementAbility to evaluate legal and commercial termsExperience conducting supplier benchmarking and spend analysisAbility to prepare sourcing recommendations for stakeholdersBring sourcing, negotiation, and market data licensing capabilities to Société Générale's Americas Sourcing Department and provider relationships.
