BDO Manager in Tax Transaction Services

Join BDO as a Manager for our Transaction Tax Services team, with opportunities available across Canada. Lead tax due diligence and mentoring initiatives while addressing complex tax challenges. In this managerial position, you will conduct thorough analyses on tax issues and develop efficient tax structures for diverse transactions. Engage with clients, collaborate with partners, and support the growth of junior staff through effective coaching. Driving business development within private-equity will also be critical to this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tax due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Collaborate with vendors and legal counsel for risk management
- Analyze and design tax-efficient structures for acquisitions
- Prepare detailed technical deliverables for clients
- Mentor and lead engagement teams across Canada
- CPA designation or LLB completed
- Master of Taxation or CPA Canada in-depth Tax program preferred
- Minimum 5 years of professional tax experience
- Demonstrable experience in M&A transactions
- Strong team leadership and client service skills
