Assistant Controller at RCL

Transform financial data into business insights as RCL's Assistant Controller. Partner with the finance team to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance in a hybrid work environment. RCL is seeking a CPA designating professional with at least five years of experience in accounting and finance. This role will play a vital part in financial reporting, helping to prepare consolidated statements and support audits. You will drive process improvements while guiding a collaborative accounting team to achieve strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in external audit activities and tax compliance
- Monitor and implement new accounting standards
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
- CPA designation with 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience in external audits and compliance regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with ERP familiarity
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
