Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist

The Opportunity

• We are looking for an Environmental Engineer or Geoscientist who is passionate about creating positive change and wants to join a company that values its employees.

Responsibilities

• Work to support field programs within the real estate, remediation, and risk assessment practice areas.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
• Coordination of due diligence, assessment and remediation projects.
• Conduct field work as field lead and site supervisor and train junior team members.
• Conduct office tasks including developing work plans and cost estimates, completing data analysis and review, and preparing technical reports.
• Support business development initiatives within southwestern Ontario market segment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligible for, or working toward, registration with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) as P.Eng., or with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) as P.Geo.
• Three to five years of field and office experience in real estate, remediation, or risk assessment practice areas is preferred.
• Experienced in safely leading groundwater monitoring programs, environmental drilling programs, and small-and large-scale remediation projects.
• Knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Salary Range

• $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
• This range represents our current market benchmark. Final offers are determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
