Site Superintendent

At The Pederson Group, we specialize in construction and engineering recruitment across North America. Our client, a reputable construction company in Saskatchewan , is seeking a Site Superintendent to join its team.

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for on-site multi-family, commercial and/or industrial construction activities within the established design, budget and scheduling guidelines. This includes planning and scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling activities on the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct and control on-site construction management to ensure compliance with specifications, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on-site to ensure their work is meeting schedule and quality specifications.
• Supervise internal forces.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure efficient schedule coordination and minimize delays.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients/representatives.
• Complete field admin documentation: timesheets, quantity reports, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate workforce, material deliveries and equipment on site.
• Work in a team environment.
• Demonstrate leadership in adherence to the company safety management program.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in multi-family, commercial and/or industrial construction.
• Proven safety training and awareness.
• Journeyperson certification in the trade of carpentry is preferred.
• Proven leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team environment.
