Market Risk Analyst at BMO Financial

Elevate your analytical skills with BMO Financial Group as a Market Risk Analyst in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with the FRTB team to meet quantitative risk needs and operational excellence. This role requires an understanding of FRTB regulations combined with strong analytical capabilities in financial services. You will be responsible for data validation checks, qualitative issue analysis, and operational process improvements to support market risk analytics. A background in SQL, VBA, and financial instruments is essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct operational review of FRTB production runs
Execute data validation checks based on mandates
Perform qualitative analysis and resolve issues
Support maintenance of operational procedures
Liaise with stakeholders on data lineage

Requirements:

1-3 years in regulatory reporting or a related role
Knowledge of financial instruments and market risk measures
Proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Excel
Experience with JIRA is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
