Logistics 3PL Senior Broker
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated 3PL Logistics Broker to join our team. If you're a natural problem-solver with strong industry relationships and a talent for keeping freight moving efficiently, we want to hear from you.
As a Senior Logistics Broker, you'll be responsible for coordinating shipments, building carrier relationships, negotiating rates, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. You'll play a key role in supporting our growing logistics and supply operations across Western Canada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, secure, and manage freight with reliable carriers
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality
- Track and trace shipments, resolving issues proactively
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Grow and manage a personal carrier network
- Ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance
- Identify opportunities to optimize cost, service, and route efficiency
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
As a member of the Sutco transportation team, we expect you bring the following to the table:
- 3+ years of 3PL brokerage experience
- Understanding of TL/LTL, flatbed, heavy haul, and/or Van freight
- Ability to negotiate rates and manage carrier relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with TMS platforms and load boards (Loadlink, HubSpot)
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Self-motivated with strong ownership
- Existing carrier network in Canada/USA
- Existing customer network in Canada/USA
- Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations
