EY-Parthenon is Ernst & Youth’s global strategy consulting arm, helping CEOs and business leaders design and deliver transformative strategies across the enterprise. As a Transaction Strategy & Execution Senior Manager you will be an integral part of our highly experienced team, working on high‑profile transactions and operational value creation mandates for sophisticated clients.
Your key responsibilities
- IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models and the optimization of technology processes and services across diverse industries
- IT due diligence, stand‑alone costing, one‑time cost development, operating model design
- Integration planning and execution (Integration Management Office)
- Carve‑out or divestiture planning and execution (Carve‑out Management Office)
- Synergy identification, validation and realization
- Development of Transitional Services Agreements
- Development of M&A and integration playbook
- Leadership and management of diverse project teams toward successful outcomes, ensuring each individual understands their strategic role
- Drive the growth of the practice by leading client outreach, accelerating market development, spearheading pursuits and proposal development, and fostering long‑lasting revenue‑generating partnerships
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior client stakeholders, contributing to EY-Parthenon growth and reputation
Skills and attributes for success
- Graduate or bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (e.g., Computer Science)
- 8‑10+ years of experience in a professional services organization or related career track; previous management‑consulting experience is a prerequisite
- Big 4 experience in diligence, integration, divestiture space is required
- A proven record of excellence in merger integration, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs
- A demonstrable track record as a trusted IT advisor to large (Fortune 500 and comparable) clients
- Technical depth in one of the following is desired: ERP applications, Non‑ERP applications, Infrastructure (cloud)
- Proven track record of developing long‑lasting business relationships with executive stakeholders
- Experience leading, setting direction for M&A / value‑creation project teams in complex business environments
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Proven track record of overseeing engagement scope, resources, financials and driving stakeholders effectively
- Experience coaching and guiding people to grow professionally and personally
- Requirement to be bilingual in French and English
- Ability to travel to the U.S. for work on short notice
Qualifications
- Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Software)
- Business (e.g., BCom, MBA, PMP)
Ideally you will also have
- Proven record of excellence in a merger integration, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs with a focus on technology
- Experience supporting projects involving IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models and the optimization of technology processes and services across diverse industries
