Drive AI excellence as a Senior Software Development Manager with Verily Health. Oversee teams building AI infrastructure, ensuring trustworthy model serving and monitoring solutions. Verily Health seeks an experienced leader to manage the AI Development organization. In this role, you will build and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to design technical strategies that align with scalable project initiatives and enhance AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage an 8-10 member software development team
- Deliver reliable AI model and agent serving infrastructure
- Lead evaluation and monitoring toolkit for production models
- Drive project planning aligned with cross-functional goals
- Address pain points of AI developers to streamline workflows
- 8+ years in software or ML development roles
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proven experience with ML/AI platforms
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in managing multiple teams and projects
