Cabinet Draftsperson or Engineer

We are seeking a draftsperson to join our team. As a draftsperson, you will play role in the production of our cabinets, ensuring that drawings meet quality standards and preparing them for further production. If you have experience in the assembly and fabrication of cabinets, we encourage you to apply.

Our main software is Mozaik which assists in our CNC cabinet production.

Duties:

- Produce accurate and complete shop floor drawings to drive CNC production, assembly, finishing and installation.
- Proficient with cabinet assembly and methods of installation
- Reads and accurately interprets Shop drawings, renderings and specifications of wood fixtures, cabinetry,  and moldings.
- Checks and organizes all drawings on the job before sending to shop floor.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of different types of materials for cabinetry making.
- Manages several projects end-to-end at the same time in varying stages.
- Keeps jobs on track and advises management of any problems that may occur.

Experience:

- Previous experience with/knowledge of cabinet assembly and methods of installation.
- Prior experience with the Mozaik Software is an asset (Not Required)
- Proficiency in computers

Additional Mozaik training may be provided.
Wage is based on experience.
