We're on the hunt for a talented creative jewellery designer with CAD experience who will create beautiful pieces based on our customer's ideas and visions.
We're a family-run business looking to expand our current CAD and jewellery program for custom pieces.
Jewellery Designer - Full Time:
- This position is a full time job (40.5 hours per week)
- The candidate must be able to work Saturdays
- Benefits are available
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with CAD software, Matrixgold preferred
- Excellent sketching and illustration abilities
- Knowledge of metals and precious gems
- Jewellery experience a must
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with customers in our retail store to discuss creating a unique piece according to their vision
- Answer any customer questions to help them make informed design and purchasing decisions
- Recommend specific products based on the customer's needs
- Sketch out a design to ensure the client's vision is captured
- Create CAD designs from your sketch to show customers
- Keep up to date on the latest jewellery trends
