Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite Lead / SAP Build Developer
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite:
• Cloud Integration
• API Management
• Open Connectors
• Implement Agentic AI with SAP Build.
• Architect and implement secure connectivity across hybrid landscapes, including:
• SAP Cloud Connector
• SFTP
•
• REST
• SOAP
• IDoc
• RFC
• OData
• APIs
• Define and enforce integration standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
• Design and optimize end-to-end integration flows (iFlows), including:
• Complex routing
• Transformations
• Custom mapping
• Exception handling
• Own and troubleshoot connectivity issues, including:
• Certificate lifecycle
• Authentication
• Networking
• Interface failures
• Provide technical leadership on integration strategy, architecture, and solution design.
• Partner with business analysts, architects, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable integration designs.
• Assist with production support, including:
• Monitoring
• Incident resolution
Required Skills
• SAP integration experience, including hands-on work with middleware platforms.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite in enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of connectivity and integration protocols:
• REST
• SOAP
• IDoc
• RFC
• SFTP
• APIs
• Proven experience with hybrid (or RISE) connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms:
• OAuth
• Certificates
• SAML
• Principal Propagation
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting:
• Network issues
• Connectivity issues
• Interface issues
• Proficiency in data transformation:
• XML
• JSON
• XSLT
• Message Mapping
• Custom Mappings using Java
• Groovy Scripting
• Experience in:
• Integration monitoring
• Logging
• Error handling frameworks
• Strong understanding of integrated architecture patterns and system design principles.
• Experience working in Agile DevOps environments and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of MCP protocol.
• Experience integrating with third-party AI/LLM platforms:
• Copilot
• AWS
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with:
• SAP PI/PO
• HANA Cloud Integration (HCI)
• Legacy SAP middleware platforms
• Exposure to:
• API Management
• Event-driven integration patterns
• Experience integrating with:
• SAP S/4HANA
• Ariba
• Concur
• Familiarity with scripting:
• Groovy
• JavaScript
• Experience building Joule AI Agents in SAP Build.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 for embedding AI-driven UX enhancements.
