Traffic and Transit Construction Manager

Lead the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project as a Traffic and Transit Construction Manager. This crucial role focuses on managing construction activities with an emphasis on public safety and compliance. TRP is seeking an experienced manager to oversee traffic and transit construction for the ECWE-SRS project. You will coordinate with design teams and local agencies to ensure minimal disruptions during project execution. Strong planning and monitoring will be key to successfully meeting project objectives and stakeholder needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage traffic and transit construction activities daily
• Coordinate with design teams and local agencies effectively
• Develop traffic management plans to enhance safety
• Track project budgets, schedules, and performance
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
• Proven experience in large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of transit operations and safety
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with construction documentation practices Influence infrastructure developments at TRP through effective management and collaboration.
