You will be supporting:
People

• Helping lead a team to achieve high levels of quality in service and food
• Fostering and maintaining a safe and positive work environment for your team that encourages efficiency and growth
• Providing support in orientations, ongoing training and development and coaching opportunities, and performance reviews for your team
• Supporting the GM to align your team to the restaurant's objectives
• Providing support in recruitment and selection
• Helping support a positive work environment and culture by creating and maintaining strong and supportive relationships with all team members

Guest Experience

• Working with your team to ensure great experiences for guests. Building great relationships with guests to create return customers
• Working with your team to identify ways to give back to the local community
• Partnering with the local community to support awareness and increase sales

Operations

• Providing support in managing systems and processes
• Providing support in inventory management
• Support with schedule creation and tracking of all time off, including vacation and sick days
• Other duties as required

You have:

• A strong, positive, and supportive leadership style
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide meaningful feedback
• A minimum of 2 years of recent restaurant experience in a management capacity
• Experience in providing training and development opportunities
• A demonstrated passion for soulful food, people, and the restaurant industry
• Excellent and positive communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated time management skills to ensure you and your team are able to prioritize
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends according to the needs of the business
• Working knowledge of craft beers, wines, and cocktails
