We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Developers to join our team in Toronto. This role is focused on the design, development, and implementation of complex, cloud-native web applications within an Agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Cloud Architects, to deliver high-quality software products (MVPs) that meet stringent accessibility and security standards.

Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension

Rate: $565.97-$601.35/diem

Responsibilities

End-to-End Development: Design and implement overall solution architecture, managing both front-end user interfaces and back-end services.

API Construction: Design and build secure REST API services and integrate them seamlessly with modern front-end UIs.

Technical Specification: Translate storyboards, user stories, and UI/UX artifacts into detailed technical specification documents and application designs.

Database Management: Design and deploy relational databases, utilizing Entity Framework or other ORM data access tools for efficient data retrieval.

Quality Assurance: Support comprehensive testing efforts, including unit testing, test automation, load testing, and AODA (accessibility) compliance testing.

DevOps Integration: Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure the speed and scalability of the entire application stack.

Application Support: Provide critical incident investigation and troubleshooting for complex production Java enterprise applications.

Mentorship: Coordinate development activities and provide technical consultative support and knowledge transfer to other staff members.

Qualifications
Core Stack: Expert proficiency in React, Next.js, and Node.js.

Programming: Advanced skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Data Access: Extensive experience with Entity Framework (or other ORM tools) and SQL.

API Development: Proven track record in designing and constructing REST APIs.

Accessibility: In-depth knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and AODA standards.

Azure Ecosystem: Experience with Azure Cloud Development (PaaS, Azure SQL) and Azure DevOps (Git, CI/CD pipelines).

Agile Experience: Active participation in Scrum Agile delivery teams, contributing to task planning and daily stand-ups.

Testing Tools: Familiarity with test automation software such as Playwright, NUnit, XUnit, or Jasmine.
