The Role

As a Red Seal Industrial Electrician at Ganong, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the electrical systems that power our production facility. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment, contributing to the seamless production of our renowned confections. You will be responsible for conducting electrical repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance on all equipment and plant facilities. By ensuring the reliability of our electrical systems, you will help us uphold our commitment to crafting high-quality confections that inspire life’s sweetest moments.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent, Vocational, or technical training as an Industrial Electrician preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently or part of a team
• Red Seal Industrial Electrician
• Ability to comprehend manufacturer’s manuals regarding repairing equipment
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
• Shift work required
