JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Mathematics, the Game Engine Developer III works with the team to provide a solid and versatile game development kit, used to deliver high quality, captivating and performing games.

With a strong understanding of gameplay, he or she assists the game software developers and collaborates with creative and talented partners to develop new features.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Participates in the development of new features, modules and concepts required in the game development platform.
• Programs, maintains, supports, integrates, documents and validates the game code using the game development platform.
• Assists the game development team in integrating mathematical data into the active game projects.
• Participates in software design and project analysis.
• Acts as a reference for the game development team.
• Troubleshoots moderate to complex issues.
• Researches technical issues and shares findings with the team.
• Other projects and duties as assigned by the manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in programming, preferably in video game development.
• Demonstrated knowledge of C# and. Net 6.0+.
• Experience with the Visual Studio development environment.
• Knowledge of GIT version control tool.
• Demonstrated ability to make key decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

ASSETS:

• Knowledge of C, C++ and Unity 3D.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work as part of a team or independently.
