POSITION: Branch Sales Manager

LOCATION: Windsor, ON

Our client is a well-established B2B distributor of industrial products, serving a diverse base of commercial and trade customers across Ontario and they are looking for a Branch Sales Manager to take ownership of their Windsor operation.


This is a hands-on, sales-driven leadership role. While the role includes responsibility for the branch and a small team, the primary focus is on winning business, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable growth in and around the Windsor area.


The successful candidate will be someone who is energized by sales, comfortable developing business in the field, capable of leading a team, and has an entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership of a local operation.


This position offers the chance to run a local business while remaining heavily involved in sales. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the branch, grow its customer base, develop a team, and directly contribute to its commercial results. This will feel like an opportunity to run your own business without taking on any of the risk! You will also be compensated directly for your efforts in the form of annual profit sharing for the location you manage!

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of sales growth and commercial performance for the Windsor branch
• Develop new customer relationships and expand business with existing accounts
• Spend significant time engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet
• Manage the sales process from prospecting and relationship development through to quoting and closing
• Establish local sales priorities and translate broader company objectives into actionable plans
• Lead and support a small branch team, providing direction, coaching, and accountability
• Oversee the daily functioning of the branch and ensure customers receive responsive, reliable service
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to support customer requirements and commercial opportunities
• Keep a close eye on sales activity, margins, inventory, and overall branch results
• Address customer concerns and help build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships
• Look for ways to expand the branch's presence and identify untapped opportunities within the local market

Requirements:

• A proven sales track record in a B2B environment
• Experience selling technical, industrial, mechanical, building, or related products and solutions
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts while growing existing customer relationships
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or leading others
• A strong understanding of the commercial side of a business, including revenue, gross margin, and profitability
• Confidence dealing directly with customers, making sales calls, and developing relationships at multiple levels
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• A self-directed, entrepreneurial approach and willingness to be hands-on
• The ability to move comfortably between customer-facing sales activities and internal management responsibilities
• Strong business judgment, organization, and follow-through

Compensation:

• 75-85K base salary plus uncapped profit sharing ~120-150K OTE++
