Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Supervise and provide care for the client

·         Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence

·         Prepare and serve meals according to parental instructions

·         Take the client to and from school and appointments

·         Provide a caring and safe environment

·         Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development

·         Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings

·         Discipline the client according to the methods requested by the parents

·         Maintain records of client’s daily activities and health information if requested

Requirements:

·         1 to 7 months of experience

·         Completion of secondary school

·         Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience

·         Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

Work Conditions:

·         Physically demanding

·         Repetitive tasks

Position Type:
