Warehouse Inbound Team Leader

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Plan and coordinate various warehouse activities to meet or exceed the facility objectives.
• Purchase order variance research, investigations, and adjustments.
• Promote and support a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with governmental regulations.
• Assist in put-away and picking of product using various warehouse equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading truck, when necessary.
• Assist in the training of new employees and the ongoing training of existing employees to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.
• Focus on customer needs and customer service while ensuring that all policies and procedures are met.
• Communicate with team members regarding operational issues providing effective feedback.
• Act as a leader and as a coach with employees by encouraging continuous improvement and supporting an inclusive work environment.

Expertise & Essential Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years experience in a distribution environment
• Experience with warehouse management system (WMS), RF Units, ERP (SAP)
• Certified in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Ability to adapt and lead in a constantly changing environment.
• Capacity to work under pressure for meeting customer needs.
• Strong leadership skills, which include the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong Communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in wholesale distribution and/or automotive industry.
