Accounting Specialist with Petro-Canada Lubricants

Elevate Petro-Canada Lubricants’ financial processes as a full-time Accounting Specialist. Ensure proper inventory valuation, month-end reporting, and compliance with SOX and accounting policies.
Working within the Accounting Team at Petro-Canada Lubricants, your expertise will cover essential functions like inventory management and the preparation of reconciliations. You will champion accounting compliance practices, oversee project executions, and lend your skills to support financial planning and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct month-end accounting and inventory controls
• Review and prepare financial account reconciliations
• Lead projects related to accounting and audits
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum ten years of relevant accounting experience required
• Bachelor's degree and CPA (or equivalent) mandatory
• Strong grasp of SAP and Excel capabilities
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial controls
• Leadership experience is a valued asset
