The RoleYou own the day-to-day strategy and execution of our content program at Mappedin. This is a highly collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves role. You'll be hands‑on in the content itself while helping to execute the broader content strategy that drives organic growth, AI discovery, and pipeline. Working closely with product marketing, demand gen, and AEO/SEO tools, you'll plan, produce, and optimize content that not only ranks but converts, helping us define and lead the indoor mapping category in a fast‑paced environment where content is a core growth engine.
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
Strategy & Planning
Execute the content strategy across the full funnel with a focus on driving organic growth, building pipeline, and increasing conversion rates
Map content to buyer personas, funnel stages, and use cases, identifying category‑defining angles and white space opportunities leveraging Mappedin's known buying roles
Plan, prioritize, and sequence content production based on keyword opportunity, AEO prompt coverage, pipeline gaps, and commercial priorities
Conduct keyword research and content gap analysis using tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and HubSpot AEO to identify high‑impact topics across SEO and AI search, and translate them into content briefs
SEO & AEO (AI Engine Optimization)
Ensure all content is structured for traditional search rankings and optimized for AI discovery (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity)
Monitor and grow AI search visibility and share of voice and prioritize content investments accordingly.
Maintain and iterate on the prompt‑based content generation workflow ensuring quality, brand voice, and discoverability standards are met at scale.
Collaborate with the SEO/AEO consultant to execute on technical recommendations
Monitor GSC and Ahrefs for impression spikes, ranking jumps, and new keyword opportunities
Content Production & Operations
Audit and refresh legacy blog posts and resource pages based on traffic performance, keyword shifts, and conversion data
Own the content workflow end‑to‑end, from ideation and brief creation, through drafting, SEO/AEO optimization, review cycles, CMS publishing, and post‑publish performance tracking.
Evaluate and integrate AI‑assisted content tools (e.G., Outrank.So, Claude‑based workflows) to increase the speed and efficiency of content production
Growth & Conversion
Optimize content for conversion at every funnel stage by ensuring blog content and resource pages include clear paths to conversion
Partner with demand generation to produce content assets (guides, blogs, email sequences) that support targeted account‑based marketing efforts
Create and maintain content resources that sales can use in outreach

At Mappedin, we don’t take a one‑size‑fits‑all approach to how we work. While we have colleagues around the globe, some roles are best suited for full‑time, in‑person work at our home office in Waterloo. This is a remote role.
