Global Procurement Manager at Leading Pharma

Join a respected global pharmaceutical company as a Procurement Manager dedicated to advancing health outcomes through strategic sourcing and inventory management. This role emphasizes leadership and compliance. You will report directly to the Director of Global Manufacturing Procurement, playing a vital role in managing the Sourcing and Purchasing functions at the Steinbach site. Your leadership will focus on establishing performance targets, enhancing supplier relationships, and implementing continuous improvements in procurement practices. Your strategic approach will ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Set and evaluate performance goals for the procurement team
- Determine inventory levels to support production plans
- Manage supplier evaluations and negotiation processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards
- Oversee training and development for procurement staff
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of SAP Purchasing and MRP/ERP systems
- CCP or APICS certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
