Parts Sales Professional

The Steinbach Parts department is looking for someone to join their team of sales professionals.  This is a great opportunity for you to come and work for a solid Manitoba company that has amazing people to work with and for, great benefits package and room for growth!  The purpose of this position is to create value by providing the right part, for the right customer need, at the right time, every time. Responsibilities:

• Serve customers at the parts counter by understanding their requirements and then efficiently locating the correct part to fill their need;
• Assist the customer in determining the required parts using expert knowledge and company resources;
• Improve the likelihood that the customer’s repair is successful by offering advice and inquiring about the need for additional parts typically related to the particular repair;
• Handle in-coming parts calls on all product lines;
• Create an atmosphere where customers feel welcome;
• Provide written quotes to customers in a timely fashion and follow up on quotes;
• Inform customer about special deals during sales campaigns;
• Follow up on special orders and advise customers promptly when they are received;
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all that you do;
• Keep current on new products and new models and continuously upgrade parts knowledge.

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service and customer relationship management skills
• Cheerful disposition, positive “can do” attitude, good public presentation
• Willingness to learn new things
• Above average verbal communication
• Experience using a computerized inventory and ordering system or have skills from another role that could be transferable
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general  parts terminology
• Basic familiarity with agricultural equipment is a bonus, but not required - we can train you!
