About the job

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Leader to grow and manage the sales funnel for Trexo Home Devices — starting in Canada, with the potential to expand into new markets. This is our first hire in this role, and you will play a key part in shaping our sales strategy. You will lead and coach a small sales team while staying hands-on in the sales process yourself. Working closely with marketing and customer support, you will help align strategy, stay ahead of market trends, and drive long-term growth.

Your impact will be directly tied to your compensation: a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.

This position is hybrid (3 days in our office in Mississauga) or fully remote (for candidates based in Canada but outside Ontario).

What you'll do

• Lead and grow the sales funnel for Trexo Home Devices, achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.

• Manage and coach a small team of Sales Representatives, supporting their success through regular feedback and performance tracking.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook to standardize and improve the sales process.

• Optimize sales operations, including pipeline management, CRM usage, and reporting workflows.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective customers and referral sources.

• Working closely with Head of Marketing and conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

• Create and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth in Canada.

• Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in sales or business development for medical devices, ideally in mobility or medical devices for home use.

• 4+ years of experience leading a small team.

• Proven success in relationship-driven sales and managing a sales pipeline.

• Experience with Salesforce.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

• Highly organized with strong time management abilities.

• Willingness to travel across North America as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with insurance claims/ medical reimbursements process.
