Senior Field Tech/Engineer

Provides the reliability and performance of
the electrical distribution system by inspecting/testing/maintaining
electrical equipment and devices, analyzing/determining the presence
of adverse conditions, documenting / reporting test results, and
taking appropriate corrective actions.

· Instrument transformer tests – CCVT,
CT, and SSVT testing.

<\/p>

· Surge Arrester power factor testing.

<\/p>

· Testing capacitor bank or power -factor
correction systems

<\/p>

· Power transformer testing - Doble, TTR,
Insulation Resistance, etc.

<\/p>

· Confirming circuitry via voltage checks,
point -to -point, and secondary injection.

<\/p>

· High voltage breaker testing: timing,
travel, and functional testing

<\/p>

· Switchgear functionals – print reading,
commissioning, and troubleshooting

<\/p>

· ATS Testing – ensuring proper operation
from normal to emergency power.

<\/p>

· Willing to travel for work throughout North
America, traveling 50 percent of the time.

Requirements <\/h3>

Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for
consideration, you must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements.

<\/p>

· Must work safely and adhere to all
electrical safety core principles/procedures.

<\/p>

· Prefer a bachelor's in Electrical
Engineering OR an Associate’s degree/technologist diploma from an
accredited two -year technical college

<\/p>

· Must have at least 5 or more years of
relevant experience

<\/p>

· Must have general PC skills, including
email, internet, data entry, and Microsoft Excel

<\/p>

· NETA Certification is ideal

<\/p>

· Prefer CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training

<\/p>

domestic travel and occasional international travel (Canada, USA, Mexico)
