Warehouse Shipper and Receiver

Role Responsibilities:

· Lifting and carrying large heavy products.

· Assisting Shipping team in safely unloading, checking for damage, properly scanning, and binning all incoming deliveries.

· Assisting Shipping team in safely loading, checking for damage, and properly scanning all outgoing deliveries prior to departure.

· Assisting in securing loads for safe transport of products.

· Assist Driver with navigation and ensuring the driver maintains focus.

· Communication between Shipper/receiver and driver while vehicle is in motion on any delays or changes to the delivery or route.

· Communication with customers while vehicle is in motion on delivery times.

· Assists driver spotting vehicle while unit is in reverse.

· Assisting with weekly Vehicle Assessment reporting any necessary repairs.

· Assisting Driver with Site Hazard Assessment.

· Assist Driver with providing proof of delivery photos to the Shipper/Receiver along with shipping manifest and packing slips.

· Keep company vehicles clean and properly maintained.

· Keep warehouse clean and properly maintained.

Skills Required:

· Physically fit, very heavy lifting required

· Flexible hours

· Must be able to travel out of province

· Able to work with minimal supervision

Licence/Certification:
